Lunchtime Lecture

Lunchtime Lecture: Popular Transport Data & International Open Data News and Trends, 27 October

Come along to the ODI Queensland’s October lunchtime lecture and hear from guest presenter Wayne Dale, Principle Analyst (Traffic Data) – Queensland Department of Transport & Main Roads (TMR).

Wayne is the data custodian of some of TMR’s most popular open data.  This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about these high value data sets, how they are used, and to also gain a publisher’s perspective on how Wayne and his team is managing and maintaining them.

Wayne is fortunate to be attending this year’s  International Open Data Conference in Madrid, in October.  He has generously offered to share the highlights of all the latest global open data trends, experiences and news as part of this lunchtime lecture topic.

Where and when?

Thursday, 27 October 2016 from 12-1pm.

At ODI Queensland: 70-72 Bowen Street, Spring Hill Qld.

Lunchtime lectures are free to attend and open to anyone.
