Queenslanders in Conversation: are smart cities for everyone?

What makes a city ‘smart’ and how do we build one that works for everyone? How can Queensland use technology to improve liveability, increase productivity and enhance citizenship engagement?

The State Library of Queensland is holding its third Queenslanders in Conversation talk for 2017 on Wednesday, 9 August at 6pm.  ABC Radio Brisbane’s Kelly Higgins-Devine will facilitate a conversation between high profile panellists, audience members and online viewers.

Ellen Broad, ODI Registered Trainer, will provide her expert views on open data, in a discussion with other panellists: Colin Russo, engagement expert, Cat Matson, Chief Digital Officer for City of Brisbane, and Professor Marcus Foth, Director of the QUT design lab.
